Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has added Jessica Cooney as a partner in its Mergers and Acquisitions Practice in Boston, expanding the firm’s private equity and transactional capabilities in the region.

She also advises on corporate governance and represents public and private companies in strategic M&A transactions.

Her arrival builds on the expansion of Simpson Thacher’s Boston office, which launched in 2024 and has grown across transactional, regulatory and disputes practices.
