Sinch announced the appointment of Jonas Dahlberg as acting Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, as part of the company’s ongoing leadership transition process.
The move follows the previously announced decision by Laurinda Pang to step down as CEO. After further discussions between the Board, Pang, and Dahlberg, the Board determined that accelerating the succession timeline would best support Sinch’s next stage of execution and growth.
Dahlberg joined Sinch as Chief Financial Officer on April 1, 2025. Prior to joining the company, he served as CEO and previously CFO of customer experience outsourcing company Transcom. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions at engineering consultancy Sweco and worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
According to the company, Dahlberg has played an important role in Sinch’s transformation efforts and strategy execution over the past year. Sinch has spent the last several years integrating acquired businesses, improving profitability, and positioning itself for renewed growth as a cloud communications platform serving the AI economy.
Laurinda Pang will remain with the company to support the transition process until a permanent successor is appointed, but no later than December 31, 2026.
