Sitemetric, a provider of construction site security, access, and workforce technology and services, announced that an affiliate of Gemspring Capital has made an additional investment in the company while appointing Rich Riley as chief executive officer. The move reflects Gemspring’s continued backing of Sitemetric as demand grows across data center construction and broader building markets.
The company offers a connected platform designed to support construction site security, access control, and workforce management on complex projects across the United States. Its technology integrates access control, badging, safety tools, and real-time visibility capabilities to help contractors and owners improve security, reduce risk, and enhance operational performance.
Riley joins Sitemetric with experience scaling technology-enabled companies. He previously served as chief executive officer of Shazam Entertainment, which was acquired by Apple, and held senior leadership roles at Yahoo. More recently, he was co-chief executive officer of Origin Materials, a sustainable materials technology company.
Sitemetric was founded by Brian Thomas and Patrick Thomas, who built the business into a provider of connected jobsite security and workforce management solutions for large-scale construction environments. Brian Thomas will remain involved with the company as a member of the board of directors and strategic advisor, while Patrick Thomas will continue to provide strategic counsel to the business.
The additional capital from Gemspring will support product innovation, geographic expansion, and further investment in service capabilities as Sitemetric scales to meet increasing demand from data center developers and construction partners.
