Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has acquired ArieForce One, the Rocky Mountain Construction steel roller coaster formerly located at Fun Spot America Atlanta, and plans to reopen the attraction at an undisclosed Six Flags park during the 2028-2029 operating seasons.
The company has not yet disclosed which park will receive the coaster, leaving its future location as one of the major unanswered questions surrounding the acquisition.
ArieForce One developed a significant following among roller coaster enthusiasts during its three years of operation at Fun Spot America’s former Atlanta location in Fayetteville, Georgia.
The attraction was named in honor of Fun Spot America founder John Arie Sr. and represented one of the family’s largest investments in the park.
ArieForce One closed on August 2, 2026, after initially opening on March 31, 2023.
Six Flags plans to retain the ArieForce One name following relocation, preserving the identity and history that helped establish the coaster’s following.
Manufactured by Rocky Mountain Construction, ArieForce One is a 154-foot-tall steel roller coaster featuring a 146-foot first drop and a top speed of 64 mph.
The ride contains approximately 3,400 feet of track, four inversions and an approximately two-minute ride duration.
Signature elements include what Six Flags describes as the world’s largest zero-gravity stall, the Raven Truss Dive, an outward-banked airtime hill and multiple high-intensity negative-G airtime moments.
Six Flags plans to reassemble and enhance the coaster at its eventual destination.
Additional information regarding the park selection, construction schedule and reopening plans will be announced later.
The acquisition adds another prominent attraction to a Six Flags portfolio that includes more than 250 roller coasters.
Its collection includes Fury 325, Top Thrill 2, Millennium Force, Leviathan, El Toro, The Beast and Tormenta.
Six Flags operates 20 amusement parks, 14 water parks and nine resort properties across 13 U.S. states, Canada and Mexico, along with an amusement park in Saudi Arabia.
