Skin Pharm – a modern beauty brand and leading aesthetic skin care clinic – announced the company has received a minority investment from Prelude Growth Partners, a female-founded growth equity firm focused on high-potential and fast-growing consumer brands. The $15 million investment will fund the company’s aggressive clinic expansion plans nationwide and contribute to ongoing product development. Founder and CEO Maegan Griffin, a board-certified nurse practitioner, successful entrepreneur, and industry pioneer, will continue to lead the company, guiding brand expansion, vision, and culture.
Skin Pharm is known as a leading provider of aesthetic skin care services with five operational clinics across Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; and Franklin, TN — with Houston, TX and Alpharetta, GA slated to open in the coming months. And these funds will aid in the continued expansion of the Company’s brick-and-mortar clinics across the country, creating over 100 new jobs nationwide as a result.
Since launching its own skin care line in 2018, the brand’s award-winning product portfolio has grown to nearly 20 products. And Prelude Growth Partners’ financial investment will also allow the Company to expand its product line and continue product development.
Through combined plastic surgery and dermatology experience, Maegan Griffin founded Skin Pharm in 2017, aiming to create a clinic environment and product line she sought as a patient herself. And Griffin has steadily built a team of advanced practice providers — all nurse practitioners and physician assistants — to carry out her vision of innovative work in aesthetic skin care and facial rejuvenation techniques, offering patients a balanced approach to beauty and anti-aging. Plus Griffin has effectively transitioned from ICU nurse to beauty mogul, with five operating clinics (and counting) and a thoughtful, effective product line with a cult-like following among celebrities, notable talent and influencers.
