Socket Mobile has entered into a strategic partnership with 3Eye Technologies to expand the availability of its mobile data capture solutions across industrial and frontline workforce markets in North America.
Through the agreement, 3Eye Technologies will distribute Socket Mobile’s portfolio of barcode scanners, contactless readers and other mobile data capture products through its network of channel partners.
The partnership is designed to increase access to Socket Mobile’s rugged, Apple-compatible data capture solutions as manufacturers and other businesses modernize frontline operations.
The companies are targeting applications across manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, field service, healthcare, retail and other environments where employees rely on mobile devices to capture and process information.
Socket Mobile said demand for Apple-based scanning technology is increasing as organizations seek familiar mobile platforms that can reduce training requirements and improve workforce adoption.
The company develops Bluetooth-enabled data capture products that integrate with mobile devices and business applications.
Its portfolio includes cordless barcode scanners and contactless readers and writers, with deployments supported by third-party mobile applications across industries including specialty retail, field service, digital identity, transportation and manufacturing.
Socket Mobile also maintains a developer ecosystem that enables software providers to integrate its data capture capabilities into their mobile applications.
The relationship with 3Eye Technologies expands Socket Mobile’s channel strategy by giving mobility resellers additional access to its hardware and supporting technologies.
3Eye Technologies specializes in endpoint solutions for deskless and frontline workers and works with reseller partners serving employees in environments such as factory floors, field operations, healthcare settings and other mobile workplaces.
Adding Socket Mobile’s products to its portfolio gives 3Eye partners additional wireless data capture options for customers seeking to improve accuracy, productivity and operational efficiency.
The companies said the partnership is intended to help resellers assemble more complete mobility solutions while simplifying deployment and ongoing management for customers.
