Socratix AI, a San Francisco–based company developing autonomous AI coworkers for fraud and risk teams, has raised $4.1 million in seed funding led by Pear VC, with participation from Y Combinator, Twenty Two Ventures, Transpose Platform Management, and several strategic angel investors.

The funding will accelerate engineering and go-to-market hiring, deepen industry partnerships, and support product R&D to combat the growing wave of AI-powered fraud.

As financial fraud grows increasingly sophisticated, Socratix AI is building AI coworkers that investigate and resolve alerts in real time, helping analysts manage the surge of automation- and identity-driven attacks. The company’s technology unifies fragmented data sources and provides clear, explainable recommendations while keeping analysts in control of critical judgment calls.

Founded by MIT, IIT, and UCLA alumni, CEO Riya Jagetia and Co-founder Satya Vasanth Reddy Tumati bring deep experience from designing large-scale fraud detection systems and enterprise AI infrastructure. Early customers report that tasks that once took hours can now be completed in minutes, significantly boosting operational efficiency.
