Solace Health announced it has raised a $130 million in Series C financing to accelerate its effort to make healthcare advocacy a standard part of care for patients across the United States, positioning advocacy as essential infrastructure as costs rise and care delivery becomes more fragmented. The round was led by IVP and included participation from existing investors Menlo Ventures, SignalFire, Torch Capital, Inspired Capital, and RiverPark Ventures. Solace said the financing values the company at over $1 billion.
The company describes its service as a patient-centric healthcare advocacy layer that sits alongside clinical care, connecting patients and families with trained healthcare advocates who coordinate care across providers, manage logistics, and surface options to help patients make decisions and move forward. Solace said it is designed to intervene between diagnosis and treatment, aiming to shorten time-to-care, reduce frictio,n and improve outcomes.
Solace said its model also centers on establishing a dedicated advocacy role for the professionals delivering the service, supported by technology, enabling experienced nurses and care specialists to focus on judgment and patient guidance while building longer-term patient relationships.
With the new capital, Solace said it will expand its national network of more than 2,000 advocates serving Medicare and Medicare Advantage members, increase investment in its platform and clinical research, and deepen partnerships with payers and providers to embed advocacy earlier in the care journey.
Solace said it was founded by CEO Jeremy Gurewitz and Chief Product Officer Sara Sargent, and that the concept emerged from Gurewitz’s experience advocating for his mother during her pancreatic cancer diagnosis. The company said it now serves more than 20,000 patients monthly through a HIPAA-compliant platform, connecting patients with advocates via text, phone and video, and reported 10x year-over-year growth.
