Solen Software Group has acquired Trackit, a cloud-based SaaS provider that develops operational and compliance software for public transit agencies.
Founded in 2013 by Mark Anderson, Trackit provides a configurable, cloud-hosted platform that helps transit agencies manage safety, compliance, and cross-department collaboration through a centralized digital system. The software replaces paper-based workflows with searchable digital records, helping agencies reduce manual reporting, eliminate duplicate data entry, and maintain audit readiness.
Trackit’s platform enables transit agencies to capture data once and share it across departments through permissions-based access, helping break down operational information silos. The system supports compliance with Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan requirements as well as broader safety and operational functions, including accident management, employee safety reporting, training management, compliance documentation, safety notifications, and drug and alcohol reporting.
More than 100 transit agencies currently use Trackit to build and maintain agency-wide safety plans supported by digital recordkeeping. The platform includes a range of operational modules tailored to agency needs, including attendance management, claims tracking, customer service workflows, document and date compliance, eLearning, event logging, form management, and HR management. Trackit also offers rapid deployment, with implementations that can be completed in as little as one day.
Following the acquisition, Trackit Transit will continue operating autonomously while benefiting from Solen’s long-term ownership model. Solen plans to support the company through investment, shared operational services, and strategic guidance while allowing the existing team to remain focused on product development and customer support.
