SolomonEdwards (see Pulse 2.0 profile here), a national professional services firm focused on solving critical business challenges for companies undergoing growth, change, or compliance-driven events, has acquired CFO’s Domain, a nationwide consulting and recruiting firm specializing in Office of the CFO advisory services.
The deal expands SolomonEdwards’ finance and accounting consulting capabilities, strengthens its presence in California, and enhances its ability to deliver integrated solutions to finance leaders across high-growth industries.
Based in Los Angeles, CFO’s Domain provides consulting, interim employee placement, and professional search services across accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, business intelligence and analytics, financial systems, IPO readiness, M&A, and post-merger integration, restructuring, and project management. The firm serves clients in technology, media and entertainment, life sciences, consumer products, financial services, and healthcare.
CFO’s Domain will initially continue operating under its existing structure as a SolomonEdwards Company before fully transitioning into SolomonEdwards’ Office of the CFO consulting solutions. Co-founders Rahul Merani and Patrick Coggins have joined the SolomonEdwards leadership team to support the firm’s ongoing expansion and broaden its ability to serve clients nationwide.
The acquisition builds on SolomonEdwards’ existing Office of the CFO services, which include accounting and finance solutions, finance transformation, FP&A, governance, tax, risk and compliance, M&A lifecycle support and project management. CFO’s Domain clients will gain access to SolomonEdwards’ broader data and risk capabilities, while SolomonEdwards clients will benefit from deeper consulting expertise and expanded recruiting capabilities within finance organizations.
The deal marks the latest step in SolomonEdwards’ growth strategy following its majority investment from Renovus Capital Partners in 2022. Since then, the firm has completed acquisitions of Dominion Advisory Group, Steele Consulting and Pencek Advisors, further diversifying its client portfolio and strengthening its private equity-backed growth platform.
