Sous, an Amsterdam-based AI-driven growth platform for the hospitality industry, has raised €4 million in seed funding to expand its product capabilities and accelerate its European rollout.
The oversubscribed round was led by Seed + Speed Ventures, with participation from PeakBridge, āltitude, Gekko Capital, and a group of angel investors.
Founded by Devon Scoulelis, Thomas Scholte, and William Hurst, Sous provides a platform designed to help independent food and beverage operators grow their businesses through digital tools and automation. Its technology focuses on improving restaurant visibility across search and AI-driven discovery platforms, converting online traffic into direct sales, and automating customer engagement.
The company said it plans to use the funding to scale its product and engineering teams, further develop its AI-driven automation capabilities, and support international expansion across Europe, beginning with Germany.
In an official company announcement shared on LinkedIn, Sous highlighted the increasing importance of AI in customer discovery and commerce, noting that independent restaurant operators require new tools to manage their online presence and customer relationships as consumer behavior shifts toward AI-powered interfaces.
Sous’s platform integrates with existing restaurant technology stacks, enabling operators to enhance marketing, streamline operations, and build direct connections with customers without relying heavily on third-party platforms.
