KNB Communications announced the acquisition of Canada-based digital agency Roketto and unveiled a new brand identity as Sōvyn, reflecting the firm’s evolution into an integrated communications and digital strategy agency focused on healthcare, life sciences, and technology clients.
The acquisition expands the agency’s capabilities in generative engine optimization (GEO), web design and development, digital advertising, inbound marketing, automation, and digital strategy. The transaction was funded by KNB Communications along with investors Sundeep Bhan and Shirin Bhan.
Founded in 1998, KNB Communications has specialized in public relations and marketing for healthcare, biotechnology, medical device, and health technology organizations. Roketto, which has operated for more than 15 years, has focused on inbound marketing, website design, SEO, and content marketing for SaaS, B2B, ecommerce, manufacturing, and technology companies.
The newly branded Sōvyn said the acquisition comes as communications strategies continue to evolve in response to AI-powered search and zero-click environments. The company plans to combine expertise in public relations, branding, marketing, SEO, GEO, web development, automation, analytics, and digital strategy to help clients increase visibility and accelerate growth.
According to the company, the name Sōvyn is derived from the Greek word “sophos,” meaning wisdom and expertise, combined with a Latin-inspired reference to innovation and intelligence. Existing clients of both organizations will continue working with their current teams throughout the transition.
