By Amit Chowdhry • Jul 11, 2025

Leading infrastructure platform Spacelift announced it secured $51 million in Series C funding, led by Five Elms Capital, with participation from Endeavor Catalyst and Inovo VC.

Spacelift simplifies managing complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments, reducing operational challenges while ensuring compliance and visibility.

Adoption has been growing across finance, software, healthcare, and government sectors, with companies like Redfin, Checkout, Moody’s, Duolingo, and Sailpoint using it. And it supports tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, and Ansible.

How the funding will be used: The funding aims to accelerate product innovation, broaden enterprise adoption, and enhance infrastructure management with AI automation. And this funding highlights Spacelift’s leadership in open source, primarily through its role in OpenTofu, launched in August 2023.

OpenTofu has 600+ contributors, over 10 million downloads, 350,000+ weekly users, and enterprise adoption by Oracle, Cisco, and Fidelity.
