Sparkle Grooming has secured $6 million in strategic growth financing to expand its membership-driven dog grooming franchise nationwide after surpassing 600 franchise licenses awarded in 24 months.
The investment was led by Companion Fund, a venture fund managed by Digitalis Ventures in partnership with Mars Petcare.
Sparkle plans to use the financing to strengthen the infrastructure supporting its franchise partners, accelerate new-location development and scale its national operating platform.
The company currently has 10 salons open, expects to end 2026 with at least 20 locations, and has more than 30 additional openings planned for 2027.
Founded in 2022, Sparkle describes its operating model as Quick-Service Pet Care, or QSPC.
The model combines recurring memberships, standardized operating systems, proprietary technology and hospitality-focused service to make grooming and hygiene a more consistent component of a dog’s overall wellness rather than an occasional transactional service.
Sparkle believes the approach can also provide franchise owners with a more predictable and repeatable operating model.
The company is continuing to pursue select multi-unit franchise partners in priority markets as it moves into its next phase of national expansion.
