Sparqle, a sustainable delivery platform connecting retailers and e-commerce brands with low-emission logistics solutions, has secured €1.2 million in a new investment round to accelerate its European expansion.

The round was led by a group of business angels, including the former Managing Director of Deliveroo EU, the former CTO of Just Eat Takeaway, and the founder of Bloomon, alongside participation from Graduate Entrepreneur Fund. The new capital will be used to further develop Sparqle’s technology platform, expand its sustainable delivery network, and support entry into additional European markets.

Sparqle operates a proprietary software platform and rider app that integrates retailers and e-commerce businesses with sustainable last-mile delivery options. Through a dedicated fleet of electric cargo bikes and electric vehicles, the company optimizes delivery routes to maximize efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. The model is designed to help reduce carbon emissions, ease urban congestion, and address pollution challenges facing European cities.

As municipalities across Europe introduce emission-free zones and tighten environmental regulations, Sparqle aims to position itself as a scalable solution for businesses seeking compliant and cost-efficient logistics alternatives. The company also aligns its reporting capabilities with the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, enabling partners to track and disclose environmental impact and CO2 emissions in line with regulatory requirements.

With an operational fleet of electric cargo bikes and vehicles already deployed, Sparqle is focused on expanding its footprint and strengthening its role in the transition toward cleaner urban logistics.
