Spartan Logistics has acquired Allen Logistics, adding 100,000 square feet of warehouse capacity in Whitehouse, Ohio, and expanding the third-party logistics company’s presence in Northwest Ohio. The transaction became effective September 1, 2026.
The acquired facility becomes Spartan’s seventh warehouse operation in Northwest Ohio and increases the company’s regional footprint to approximately 950,000 square feet. Spartan now operates approximately 4.5 million square feet of total warehouse space across its network.
Spartan plans to integrate the operation while maintaining continuity for Allen Logistics customers.
The company intends to introduce additional resources, technology and operational efficiencies while pursuing opportunities to bring new customers and business into the facility.
The transaction also included the industrial property at 6245 Industrial Drive in Whitehouse.
The location provides access to nearby markets including Swanton, Napoleon and Perrysburg.
NAI Harmon Group brokered the off-market transaction, while WesBanco provided acquisition financing.
The acquired operation strengthens Spartan’s ability to serve manufacturers, distributors and other companies across Northwest Ohio and the broader Midwest.
Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Columbus, Spartan provides warehousing, transportation and logistics services across multiple states and industries.
The acquisition continues Spartan’s strategy of expanding through a combination of logistics operations and strategically located industrial real estate.
