Spartan Marketing acquired Notion Design Group, a website design and development firm that has built more than 1,000 websites since 2006 and serves more than 70 businesses, nonprofits, and agencies.
The acquisition closed in July and establishes a dedicated website design and development division within Spartan Marketing.
Notion Design Group co-founders Joel Eschenbach and Tommy Bradley have joined Spartan Marketing to lead the new division.
Eschenbach will serve as Creative Director, while Bradley will serve as Director of Web Development.
Spartan Marketing said all existing Notion client engagements will continue under the same team, including active website projects, managed hosting, and ongoing maintenance.
The acquisition expands Spartan Marketing’s service offering by combining web design and development with its existing marketing capabilities.
The firm’s broader services include marketing strategy, StoryBrand messaging, SEO, paid media, content and video, and sales enablement.
Spartan Marketing said the deal reflects increasing demand from businesses that prefer to manage their websites and the marketing programs that drive traffic through a single provider rather than multiple vendors.
Notion Design Group brings approximately two decades of experience in website development and a substantial existing client base to the combined business.
Spartan Marketing is based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and serves businesses across the Southeast.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
