Spencer Fane added Thomas Moring as a partner in the firm’s Phoenix office and Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Moring represents clients in complex business and real estate disputes in state and federal courts, including appellate courts.
His practice focuses on real estate and commercial litigation, creditors’ rights matters, tort claims, and collections disputes.
He regularly serves as lead counsel in high-exposure litigation matters and has represented clients in commercial trials involving claims exceeding seven figures.
Moring has experience managing matters across all phases of litigation, including disputes involving significant business and financial exposure.
His addition strengthens Spencer Fane’s litigation capabilities in Phoenix as the firm continues expanding across new markets.
Outside private practice, Moring serves as vice chair of The Foster Alliance, a nonprofit organization that provides resources to children in foster care.
He also volunteers with the Community Legal Services Volunteer Lawyers Program and has twice been recognized as Attorney of the Month.
Moring has participated in fundraising initiatives supporting Special Olympics Arizona.
His broader legal service includes work with the State Bar of Arizona’s Fee Arbitration Commission and Veterans Assistance Program.
Moring also serves as chair of the City of Phoenix Public Defender Review Committee.
He has been recognized by Southwest Super Lawyers and Phoenix Magazine’s Top Lawyers.
Moring earned both his bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona.
