SpinLaunch: $30 Million Closed To Advance Development Of Meridian Space Constellation

By Amit Chowdhry • Aug 19, 2025

SpinLaunch has secured $30 million in funding to advance its Meridian Space low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite broadband constellation. This investment includes contributions from existing investors, led by ATW Partners, as well as Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

With this funding, SpinLaunch plans to establish its first customer link by late 2026 and enhance its go-to-market strategies. Growing interest suggests a demand for a cost-effective and flexible LEO satellite communication system.

Recently, SpinLaunch completed full-scale testing of its innovative multi-band reflectarray antenna, which reduces capital costs. This compact and energy-efficient antenna is ideal for next-generation LEO networks, setting it apart from traditional satellite antennas.

KEY QUOTES:

“We’re not just building momentum – we’re earning trust. From technical milestones to collaboration with early adopters, the continued backing of insiders and partners like Kongsberg underscores the credibility of our approach and the progress we’ve made.”
