SpinSci announced that it acquired Dialog Health, a patient communication platform used by Fortune 500 health systems, health plans, and ambulatory surgery centers.

The acquisition expands SpinSci’s AI-powered patient access platform by adding Dialog Health’s patient engagement and communication capabilities. The combined platform is designed to support a more connected healthcare experience across proactive outreach, access to care, workflow automation, and issue resolution.

SpinSci is an agentic AI company focused on patient access. Its platform helps health systems automate and improve workflows across scheduling, billing, referrals, pharmacy, notifications, and contact center operations.

Dialog Health brings an enterprise-scale two-way texting and RCS platform to SpinSci. The company said Dialog Health’s platform has reach rates of up to 96% and helps healthcare organizations engage patients through automated communications and workflows.

Dialog Health supports use cases including appointment reminders, confirmations, recall campaigns, orders, surveys, billing follow-up, and staff engagement. Its platform integrates with leading healthcare EHRs and systems, enabling providers to automate communications across the continuum of care.

The acquisition complements SpinSci’s existing Voice AI-powered patient access and notification solutions. By combining voice and text capabilities, SpinSci said health systems will have a unified platform for proactive patient engagement across multiple communication channels.

Dialog Health was built specifically for healthcare communications, including compliance with HIPAA, TCPA, and CTIA. SpinSci said that healthcare-specific foundation makes the acquisition a deeper strategic fit than simply adding a generic messaging tool.

A key part of the combined offering is SpinSci’s Healthcare AI Fabric, a proprietary intelligence layer that makes a health system’s EHR data AI-ready. The system identifies events that should trigger patient outreach, such as scheduled appointments, new referrals, ready prescriptions, and outstanding balances.

Once those events are identified, HCAF can automatically trigger the appropriate communication without manual list-building or batch processing. Combining this intelligence layer with Dialog Health’s conversational messaging platform is expected to help healthcare organizations personalize outreach, reduce operational friction, and improve patient response.

The deal also supports SpinSci’s broader goal of helping health systems reduce costs and improve patient access through AI co-workers that operate across healthcare workflows. The company said the combined platform will help providers create a more seamless experience for patients and staff.

SpinSci has nearly two decades of healthcare-exclusive focus and serves 165 health systems. The company automates 400 million patient interactions annually and is integrated with leading EHR and contact center platforms.

Dialog Health has spent more than a decade helping providers improve patient access, reduce no-shows, ease staff workload, and protect revenue through better communication. As part of SpinSci, Dialog Health is expected to extend its impact across a broader patient journey.
