SponsorCX Raises Additional Series A Funding To Modernize Partnership Operations

SponsorCX announced an additional investment into its Series A funding round, led by Kickstart with participation from Blueprint Equity, Capital Eleven, Frazier Group, Helm Ventures, and several returning investors.

The global sponsorship industry is undergoing a major transformation as organizations increasingly replace outdated systems and manual workflows with AI-powered platforms tailored to sponsorship operations. And this funding reflects growing investor confidence that AI-powered sponsorship operations platforms are becoming essential infrastructure for sports, entertainment, events, leagues, teams, and brands managing increasingly complex partnerships. SponsorCX said the sponsorship industry, estimated at more than $100 billion globally, has historically relied on spreadsheets, generic CRMs, and disconnected tools that create inefficiencies, reduce visibility, and limit organizations’ ability to demonstrate value to sponsors.

SponsorCX’s platform is designed to modernize sponsorship management by centralizing operations, streamlining workflows, tracking fulfillment, managing sponsorship inventory, and helping organizations measure partner value. The company said AI is accelerating this modernization by transforming previously manual processes into intelligent workflows that improve speed, efficiency, and accountability.

According to the company, enterprise organizations with large and complex sponsorship ecosystems are among the first adopters of AI-powered sponsorship infrastructure, investing in technology that can scale operations while improving return-on-investment tracking and stakeholder accountability.

The new funding will be used to expand SponsorCX’s AI capabilities across its ecosystem, deepen enterprise functionality, strengthen connections between leagues, brands, and teams, and support continued global expansion efforts. The company added that adoption of the platform is growing across sports, entertainment, live events, and brand partnerships worldwide.

SponsorCX described the investment as validation that AI-driven modernization in sponsorship operations is becoming an industry-wide shift rather than a temporary trend. The company believes organizations adopting modern sponsorship technology now will gain a competitive advantage as expectations from sponsors continue to increase.

KEY QUOTES:

“The sponsorship industry has outgrown the old ways of operating. Managing complex partner relationships with disconnected tools isn’t just inefficient, it’s a competitive disadvantage. The organizations that are winning are the ones investing in technology that was actually built for this work. AI is accelerating that advantage, and the gap between those who modernize and those who don’t is only going to grow.”

Jason Smith, CEO, SponsorCX

“We believe the sponsorship industry is in the early innings of a major cultural and technological shift. Live sports and entertainment are becoming more prominent in a digital world, creating space for innovation and new customer experiences. SponsorCX is building at this intersection, building AI-powered infrastructure to modernize sponsorship workflows. We believe Jason, Creed, and the SponsorCX team are building a category leader that will continue to define what modern sponsorship operations look like for leagues, brands, and teams around the world.”
