Why Sprint’s Unlimited Premium Plan Is A Great Deal

By Noah Long ● Sep 3, 2018

Recently, Sprint unveiled a brand new Unlimited data plan with a wide range of perks called the Unlimited Premium plan. For $90 per month, Unlimited Premium includes Amazon Prime, Hulu, TIDAL, Lookout Premium Plus, a limited-time offer for $20 per month of Uber rides and a 50GB LTE mobile hotspot.

“Sprint has upped the ante,” said Sprint’s chief commercial officer Dow Draper in a statement. “We’ve promised to deliver Unlimited offers for all and we’ve heard from customers who literally ‘want it all,’ so we designed a plan that delivers just about everything a customer could want. No other carrier comes close. It’s a platinum-class wireless plan that can bring almost $500 in annual savings. It’s the best value in the industry today.”

The Amazon Prime perk itself includes free shipping on more than 100 million items, thousands of movies and TV shows on Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, unlimited photo storage, and early access to Lightning deals. Some of the additional bullet points that the Unlimited Premium plan includes are global roaming in over 185 destinations worldwide, Unlimited talk/text/4G LTE data in Mexico and Canada, and Unlimited talk/text/data nationwide.

Purchasing the aforementioned services individually would cost at least $130. And customers on this plan receive $40 in monthly savings or nearly about $500 of savings in one year. Customers who also bring their own device to the plan or buy a new one at full price would get a $10 discount so it would just be $80 per month.

Sprint had introduced its Unlimited plans to the market earlier this year. Some of the other Unlimited plans include Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Basic, Unlimited Military, and Unlimited 55+. Unlimited Plus includes Unlimited data, talk, text, mobile hotspot data, TIDAL music streaming, Hulu with Limited Commercials, global roaming, and HD streaming. Unlimited Basic includes Unlimited data, talk, text, and a Hulu Limited Commercials subscription. Unlimited Military features discounted prices for two lines or more. And Unlimited 55+ was a plan design for people 55 and older where subscribers can get 2 lines of Unlimited for $35 per month per line.
