Squint: $40 Million Series B Raised For Expanding Agentic Manufacturing Platform

Squint, a leader in Manufacturing Intelligence, has raised $40 million in Series B funding, bringing its total investment to over $59 million. This investment was led by The Westly Group and TCV, with support from Sequoia Capital and Menlo Ventures.

Squint’s platform is used by thousands of workers in hundreds of factories, helping them improve quality, reduce downtime, and produce a range of products, from tires to food.

With the new funding, Squint will enhance its AI capabilities, expand into industries such as energy and logistics, and meet increasing demand. For example, one major customer is adding Squint to over 70 new sites, and another is rolling it out to 10,000 field technicians.

Manufacturing is a significant part of the U.S. economy, and Squint brings advanced software to factory teams who have been missing out on recent technological advancements. Before Squint, there wasn’t a system that connected machines, workers, and processes. Now:

  1. Operators can work together more easily
  2. Supervisors can track work across different shifts
  3. Leaders can see new data to improve the business

Utilizing AI and AR through mobile devices, Squint enables factories to collect valuable knowledge, standardize tasks, and enhance daily operations.

Squint’s benefits are clear:

  1. A Fortune 50 company made $4 million more profit in one year at a single site
  2. A consumer goods company cut task time by 50%, even for new operators
  3. 91% of users report being satisfied with Squint

Squint is growing quickly and hiring more employees. They recently moved into a new office in San Francisco to support their expansion.

KEY QUOTES:

“For operators in the heat of the factory floor, Squint already feels like magic. With this round of funding, we’re doubling down — empowering a broader range of frontline teams with the world’s most advanced Manufacturing Intelligence Platform.”

Devin Bhushan, Squint founder and CEO

“As operational complexity increases and a generation of experienced workers retires, the industrial workforce is facing a widening knowledge gap. Squint bridges that gap by delivering AI-powered workflows to the factory floor, equipping operators with real-time intelligence that can scale. We’re proud to partner with the Squint team as they bring transformative solutions to the workers powering the physical economy.”

Shaun Chaudhuri, Partner at The Westly Group

“It’s rare to ever hear factory workers rave about technology — let alone ask to bring it home so their kids can run chores off of it (actual request we heard). We haven’t seen that kind of product love in an industrial context. It’s a signal Squint is doing something special, and is why we’re excited to back Devin and the Squint team.”
