Standard Energy Solutions, a Maryland-based renewable energy solutions company, has promoted Bobby Young to Chief Investment Officer while he continues in his existing role as Chief Financial Officer, as the company accelerates its strategic expansion into whole-home energy services.
Young joined Standard Energy Solutions in 2015 following the acquisition of the brand from its parent company, Standard Solar, after a 25-year career in senior management roles with regional and national construction firms. During his 10-year tenure as Chief Operations Officer, the company achieved more than 300% compounded annual growth in revenues and profitability. In his expanded role, Young will be responsible for identifying strategic partnerships, corporate acquisitions, and technological advancements to advance the company’s clean energy mission across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. SES is expanding its offerings to include HVAC, roofing, stand-alone battery storage, hydrogen fuel cells, and flexible project financing.
