StandardAero announced it has acquired Unified Turbines in an all-cash transaction as the aerospace engine aftermarket services provider expands its Component Repair Services segment capabilities across key turboprop engine platforms. The acquisition represents StandardAero’s 14th acquisition since 2015 and its eighth acquisition focused on the company’s Component Repair Services business segment.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Milton, Vermont, Unified Turbines operates as an FAA Repair Station specializing in hot section component repair and overhaul services for Pratt & Whitney and Honeywell engines.

The company supports engine platforms used in aircraft, including the King Air, Cessna Caravan, Pilatus PC-12, ATR 42 and 72, and De Havilland DASH 7 and 8 regional aircraft.

According to StandardAero, Unified Turbines has served as a vendor partner to the company since 2001. The acquisition adds repair capabilities across Pratt & Whitney’s PT6A and PW100 turboprop engine families, platforms where StandardAero already maintains a significant global customer base.

StandardAero said the additional repair capacity and technical expertise are expected to strengthen turnaround times and operational support across its Engine Services business.

Unified Turbines will operate within StandardAero’s Component Repair Services segment, which currently supports more than 20,000 unique repair capabilities across commercial, military, helicopter, and aeroderivative engine platforms.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, StandardAero provides maintenance, repair and overhaul, component repair, engineering, field service, and asset management solutions across commercial aviation, business aviation, and military markets.
