Stellantis has appointed Matt VanDyke as CEO of the Ram brand and Branden Coté as CEO of the Jeep brand. The appointments are part of CEO Antonio Filosa’s strategy to strengthen the automaker’s leadership team and accelerate growth across its North American brands. VanDyke’s appointment became effective July 20. Coté will begin leading Jeep on August 3.
Both executives will report directly to Tim Kuniskis, who leads Stellantis’ American brands, North American marketing and retail strategy. Kuniskis had continued to oversee Ram after taking on his expanded responsibilities in July 2025.
VanDyke succeeds Kuniskis as the dedicated CEO of Ram. He most recently served as President of Shift Digital, a digital marketing company that works with automotive brands.
Before joining Shift Digital, VanDyke served as CEO of FordDirect. He also held several senior positions at Ford Motor Company, including head of U.S. marketing, Vice President of Marketing for Ford of Europe and head of Global Marketing, Sales and Service for Lincoln.
At Ram, VanDyke will be responsible for strengthening the brand’s customer strategy, product positioning, marketing and commercial performance. His experience across automaker and dealer-focused organizations is expected to support Stellantis’ efforts to expand Ram’s market presence.
Coté succeeds Bob Broderdorf, who has led Jeep since February 2025 and is taking medical leave. Stellantis said Broderdorf will move into another leadership position within the company when he returns.
Coté brings approximately two decades of experience across automaker and dealership operations. He most recently served as a Brand President at AutoNation, where he led several major automotive brands.
His earlier experience includes leadership roles at Aston Martin Lagonda, Canoo, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz USA. This background gives him experience spanning luxury vehicles, electric mobility, performance brands and automotive retail operations.
As Jeep CEO, Coté will oversee one of Stellantis’ most recognized global brands. His responsibilities will include customer engagement, retail performance and the execution of Jeep’s product and growth strategy.
Stellantis said the appointments are intended to add experienced executives capable of combining brand management with a customer-focused approach. Ram and Jeep are central to the company’s North American portfolio and broader plans for profitable growth.
