Stellaria, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, has secured $6.8 million in Seed funding from a group of angel investors, valuing the company at $114.4 million. This funding will support the growth and expansion of its innovative AI-powered geospatial intelligence platform.

Previously known as Farmin, Stellaria aims to create what it calls an “AI operating system for geospatial intelligence.” The platform is specifically designed to process and convert satellite imagery and a wide range of geospatial data into actionable intelligence. This technology has applications across various sectors, including government, defense, maritime operations, port management, infrastructure development, and environmental monitoring.

Stellaria’s advanced technology includes AI-driven satellite imagery analytics that substantially improve image clarity and detail through super-resolution techniques. These capabilities allow users to extract critical insights beyond what standard raw imagery can provide, enhancing decision-making processes for its clients.

Founded by Dr. Ali AlHammadi, Stellaria has been recognized for its innovative approach and has participated in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund’s Innovation Accelerator Program. This affiliation underscores the company’s commitment to pioneering developments in geospatial intelligence.

The recent capital injection will play a crucial role in expanding Stellaria’s technical team, further developing its AI and geospatial capabilities, and accelerating the deployment of its platform not only across the UAE but also in international markets. This strategic focus aims to position Stellaria as a leader in the rapidly evolving geospatial intelligence solutions landscape.
