Sterling Infrastructure has appointed Katherine Hargis as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary, effective October 5, 2026.
Hargis succeeds Mark D. Wolf, who had served as Sterling’s General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary since August 2020.
She joins Sterling from Key Energy Services, where she most recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
In that role, Hargis advised the company’s Board of Directors and executive leadership team while overseeing legal affairs, corporate governance, enterprise compliance and ethics.
Her responsibilities at Key Energy Services also extended across several broader corporate functions and strategic initiatives, including human capital, cybersecurity and risk management.
Before joining Key Energy Services, Hargis held several legal leadership roles at U.S. Concrete, including Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Her background includes more than traditional legal and compliance responsibilities, with experience supporting corporate strategy, governance and mergers and acquisitions.
Hargis earned her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice from Arizona State University.
Sterling operates through three primary segments: E-Infrastructure, Transportation and Building Solutions. Its operations support areas including data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, power generation, roads, bridges, airports, ports and residential and commercial construction.
