steute Technologies, a Battery Ventures portfolio company specializing in switching devices, sensors, and wireless networks for medical and industrial applications, has announced three acquisitions over the past three months, significantly broadening the company’s global reach, engineering capabilities, and product portfolio. Battery first invested in Lohne, Germany-based steute in 2024 and has now completed more than 90 applied technology transactions across North America and Europe since 2003.

The three acquisitions are Oldelft Ultrasound, a Netherlands-based global leader in high-performance miniaturized ultrasound transducers primarily used in cardiology applications, acquired from Smile Invest and closed in March 2026; KIEPE Industry, a Düsseldorf-based specialist in industrial switching for the bulk-handling sector that has designed and manufactured electromechanical and electronic safety and monitoring devices since the late 1960s, also closed in March 2026; and Electro-Sensors, a Minnetonka, Minnesota-based Nasdaq-listed manufacturer of industrial machine-monitoring sensors and hazard-monitoring systems founded in 1968, which is pending close subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals. The Electro-Sensors acquisition will establish a manufacturing presence in the United States.
