Stevens Capital Partners has surpassed $800 million in assets under management less than six years after its founding while acquiring a long-established Dallas-based CPA tax practice to expand its integrated wealth management capabilities.

The acquired tax practice has served individuals and business owners for more than three decades and adds more than 300 tax clients to Stevens Capital Partners.

That client base includes more than 100 businesses across 15 states.

The acquisition expands Stevens Capital Partners’ ability to coordinate investment management, tax planning, estate planning, business exit planning and philanthropic strategies within a broader advisory relationship.

Founded in November 2020, Stevens Capital Partners has grown from a startup into an RIA serving clients across more than 40 states, with particularly large concentrations in Nebraska and New York.

The firm said assets under management increased 65% from 2025 to 2026, helping push the platform beyond the $800 million milestone.

Stevens Capital Partners has also been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for two consecutive years.

The Omaha, Nebraska-based firm primarily serves entrepreneurs, executives, business owners and multigenerational families across the high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth segments.

Founder and CEO David Stevens spent more than 20 years at TD Ameritrade before launching the firm.

Stevens built the company around an approach that connects financial planning with clients’ broader personal priorities, including family objectives, charitable giving and long-term legacy planning.

The tax practice acquisition reflects the firm’s belief that investment, tax and estate decisions should be coordinated rather than addressed independently.

Stevens Capital Partners expects the added tax capabilities to give advisors more direct access to specialized expertise as clients encounter increasingly complex financial circumstances.

The firm’s integrated model also includes exit planning for business owners and philanthropic advisory services.

Stevens Capital Partners has developed a firmwide charitable initiative called the 10% Mission, under which it pledges 10% of profits to community causes.

The firm also provides employees with paid time off to volunteer with nonprofit organizations.

Stevens Capital Partners said its growth has been driven largely by long-term client relationships and reported a 99% client retention rate.

Looking ahead, the firm plans to continue investing in talent, technology and specialized expertise as it expands its comprehensive wealth management platform.

KEY QUOTE:

“For us, wealth management has never been just about growing a portfolio. It’s about helping people use what they’ve built to create the life they want and the impact they hope to have. Whether that’s supporting their children, preparing the next generation, or giving back to causes they care deeply about, we believe money has the greatest value when it’s connected to purpose.”
