Stewart, a Houston-based global real estate services company, has acquired a majority interest in Rattikin Title Company, one of the oldest and largest title agencies in Texas. Based in Fort Worth, Rattikin has served commercial and residential customers across the state for more than 80 years and is a well-established name in the North Texas title insurance market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition deepens Stewart’s presence in the Fort Worth and North Texas region, a fast-growing real estate market, by combining two of the most recognized title insurance brands in Texas. The companies share a history predating the transaction, with ties between the two firms’ founders extending back more than a century. Rattikin Title will join Stewart’s family of companies, and the Rattikin brand is expected to continue operating under its established identity.
The Rattikin family- siblings Alicia Lindsey, Allyson Grona, Jeff Rattikin, and sister-in-law Laura Rattikin – have led the business throughout its 82-year history and issued a joint statement regarding the transaction. Stewart is a global real estate services company offering title insurance, closing and settlement services, and specialized solutions for the mortgage and real estate industries through direct operations and its network of Stewart Trusted Providers.
