Stord secured a $400 million credit facility led by Citi to expand its fulfillment network and accelerate investments in robotics, automation, software, and artificial intelligence. Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan also participated in the facility, along with First Citizens, Citizens, and KeyBank. The financing was oversubscribed at nearly twice the amount Stord originally sought.
The facility follows Stord’s $250 million Series F earlier in 2026, which valued the company at $3 billion.
Together, the equity financing and credit facility give Stord approximately $650 million of new equity and credit capacity raised during 2026.
Stord plans to use the capital to expand its fulfillment network and increase investments in Stord Labs, its physical intelligence and automation operation in Atlanta.
Stord Labs develops and deploys agentic robotics and AI throughout the company’s logistics network.
The operation also embeds forward-deployed engineers within Stord facilities and customer businesses to improve speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Stord said the new financing will accelerate deployment of automation and AI across its network.
The company is approaching a $1 billion revenue run rate and has grown approximately 10-fold during the past four years.
Stord operates nearly 100 fulfillment locations worldwide and serves more than 1,000 brands.
Its platform processes more than $15 billion in gross merchandise value annually.
Stord said packages moving through its network reach approximately one in four U.S. households each year.
Alongside the financing, the company announced two additions to its executive leadership team.
Bill Zerella joined as Chief Financial Officer.
Zerella previously served as CFO at three public companies and helped take Fitbit public in 2015.
During his tenure at Fitbit, the company’s revenue increased from approximately $300 million to more than $2 billion, while its market capitalization reached approximately $12 billion.
He most recently served as CFO of ACV Auctions.
Mark Wayland joined Stord as Chief Revenue Officer.
Wayland most recently served as CRO at Box.
He previously held the same title at Tanium and spent more than a decade at Salesforce, where he eventually became Senior Vice President of Marketing Cloud.
Stord plans to use the combination of new financing and executive leadership to support its next phase of growth across physical logistics infrastructure and commerce technology.
