Strategic Value Partners: Grégoire Paepegaey Named As Managing Director

Strategic Value Partners and its affiliates (SVP), a global alternative investment firm with $22 billion in assets under management, announced that Grégoire Paepegaey has joined SVP as a Managing Director and member of the European Investment team, focusing on control investments across business services, industrials, and consumer sectors. Paepegaey will be based in the firm’s London office.

Paepegaey joins SVP from TDR Capital, where he served as a Managing Director, focusing on control private equity investments in Europe and the US. Before TDR Capital, Paepegaey held roles at Mount Kellett Capital Management, Providence Equity, and Goldman Sachs. And he started his career as an adviser for technology, energy, and telecommunications to the French President.

SVP continues to expand its European presence, having invested over $20 billion in Europe since the firm was founded in 2001.
