Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds has acquired Bay Point Landing, a waterfront camping resort in Coos Bay, Oregon, marking the company’s first acquisition in the Pacific Northwest and its first property along the coastline. The transaction expands Streamside’s national portfolio to 41 properties.
Bay Point Landing was founded in 2018 and developed, owned and operated by NBP Capital. The resort is located on a 103-acre inlet site along the southern Oregon coast, approximately four hours south of Portland and two hours southwest of Eugene.
The property includes 125 RV sites, 32 Scandinavian-inspired cabins and 14 rentable Airstreams. Amenities include an indoor heated saltwater pool, bayfront fitness center, children’s den and playground, bocce ball court and bathhouses.
Bay Point Landing is also located near Basterndorff Beach, Sunset Bay State Park and Cape Arago State Park, with Bandon Dunes Golf Resort within driving distance.
The resort has received several design and hospitality awards, including recognition from The Dyrt, Hospitality Design, Men’s Journal and Architectural Record.
For Streamside, the acquisition provides an entry point into a new geographic region while adding a resort that fits its focus on experience-driven outdoor hospitality assets in leisure destinations with limited supply.
The company plans to preserve the existing guest experience and property identity while supporting the local operating team with its national platform.
Streamside said the transition will not disrupt current operations and all existing guest reservations will be honored. The company also plans to evaluate targeted capital investments in infrastructure over the coming seasons.
Longer term, Streamside intends to integrate further into the Coos Bay community while maintaining the design and hospitality characteristics that helped establish Bay Point Landing as a destination resort.
Founded in 2023, Streamside operates RV resorts and campgrounds across 18 states. Its portfolio now includes 41 properties and more than 4,774 RV and lodging sites across the U.S.
The company operates both its Streamside-branded resorts and SteadyStays destinations, serving travelers seeking short-term vacations as well as longer seasonal stays.
The Bay Point Landing acquisition expands that platform into the Pacific Northwest while adding a mix of RV, cabin and Airstream accommodations in a coastal destination.
