Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds Acquires Sandy Pines Campground As Portfolio Reaches 40 Properties

Streamside RV Resorts & Campgrounds has acquired Sandy Pines Campground in Kennebunkport, Maine, bringing its national outdoor hospitality portfolio to 40 properties. The acquisition of the 46-acre coastal campground was completed through a court-approved sale process. Streamside said the deal supports its strategy of acquiring experience-focused outdoor hospitality properties in supply-constrained leisure destinations.

Sandy Pines includes 224 sites, consisting of 83 RV sites, 46 tent sites, 66 glamping accommodations, and 29 seasonal park models. The glamping options include safari tents, A-frame hideaway huts, and glass houses.

Amenities include a historic lodge, general store and snack bar, heated saltwater pool, bathhouses, playground, fire pits, laundry facilities, paddleboard and kayak rentals, and children’s activities. The property is near Goose Rocks Beach and overlooks coastal salt marshes.

Atlantic Hospitality will continue managing Sandy Pines through the 2026 season to provide operational continuity. Existing reservations will be honored.

Streamside plans to provide the local team with additional operational resources and evaluate targeted capital investments in the campground’s infrastructure over coming seasons.

Founded in 2023, Streamside now has properties across 17 states with more than 4,400 RV and lodging sites.
