Subway: Jonathan Fitzpatrick Named As CEO

Subway, one of the largest restaurant brands globally, has announced that Jonathan Fitzpatrick will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on July 28, 2025.

With over 20 years of experience in the franchising and quick-service restaurant sectors, Fitzpatrick previously served as President and CEO of Driven Brands, where he led the company to 17 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth. He also held senior leadership roles at Burger King, where he oversaw a major menu overhaul and modernized the brand’s operations.

Fitzpatrick will work closely with Interim CEO Carrie Walsh to ensure a smooth transition.
