SullivanCotter, an independent consulting firm specializing in total rewards programs, workforce solutions, and data products for health care and not-for-profit organizations, has acquired the health care valuation services team from Huron.

The move expands SullivanCotter’s valuation capabilities as health care organizations face increasing regulatory, transactional, and investment complexity.

The acquisition adds six experienced professionals with expertise in valuation services, strengthening the firm’s ability to support a broader range of client needs with greater depth and scale. Joining SullivanCotter are Shane Goss, ASA, as Managing Principal; Patrick Kendall, CPA/ABV, as Principal; Patrick Nolan, CFA, as Technical Lead for Health Care Business Valuation; Julie E. Route, MAI, as Consulting Manager; Christopher Luedtke as Consulting Manager; and Elizabeth Kwan as Consulting Manager.

SullivanCotter has long provided business and practice valuation services to not-for-profit and for-profit health care organizations to support compliance, transactions, physician alignment, and strategic planning. The addition of the Huron team expands the firm’s capabilities to include real estate and specialized tangible asset valuations, including fair market value real estate appraisals, rental rate analyses, equipment appraisals, asset impairment studies, facility reviews, capital planning, service line carveouts, development and valuation of MSO arrangements, litigation support, and financial feasibility studies.

The firm said the expanded offering enables it to deliver integrated valuation services across businesses, clinical practices, real estate, and tangible assets under one platform. The acquired team also brings experience working with private equity-backed health care entities and joint ventures between nonprofit and for-profit partners, further strengthening SullivanCotter’s ability to advise clients navigating complex ownership and investment structures.

The new team members will join SullivanCotter’s valuation practice and collaborate with the firm’s physician and advanced practice provider compensation, workforce, governance, and strategy experts to provide integrated, data-driven solutions.

Headquartered in Chicago, SullivanCotter partners with health care and not-for-profit organizations nationwide to improve performance through workforce and compensation strategies supported by industry data and analytics.
