Summit Park has announced that Charlie Griffin has joined the firm as a Principal. In this role, Griffin will be responsible for identifying new investment opportunities, analyzing potential deals, and assisting in structuring those investments. He will also contribute to the firm’s broader strategic efforts and work closely with portfolio companies to support their growth and performance.
Griffin brings over ten years of experience in private equity. Before joining Summit Park, he was a Principal at Avesi Partners, where he played a key role in managing investments. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Vice President at Harren Equity Partners and as an Associate at Ridgemont Equity Partners. He began his professional journey at Harris Williams, a well-known investment bank, where he gained foundational experience in financial advisory and deal-making.
His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and American History from Washington and Lee University. He later earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, one of the top business schools in the country
