Summit Partners Promotes 13 Across Global Offices

Summit Partners, a growth-focused alternative investment firm, promoted 13 professionals across its global offices, elevating four to partner, three to principal, and six to vice president.

The firm promoted Chris Bon, Meg Devine, Ross Murph,y and Jono Pagden to partner. It promoted Devin O’Connor Deane, Irina Müller, and Nik Ohri to principal, and elevated Luke Farrugia, Grace Gwozdz, Patrick McLaughlin, Max Miller, Alberto Reyes, and Paul-Hugo Thiboult to vice president.

Peter Chung, managing director and chief executive officer, said the promotions recognize strong performance and reflect Summit’s culture and values, citing the group’s work supporting portfolio companies and investors.

Bon, who joined Summit in 2016, is part of the Growth Products & Services team and has worked on investments and board roles spanning software and industrial technology platforms, including CERTANIA, Doctrine, Energy Aspects and GRESB, among others. Devine, Summit’s chief marketing officer since 2015, was promoted after prior roles spanning private equity investing and public equity research. Murphy, promoted from his role in investor relations, joined the firm in 2020 after serving as co-head of investor relations at ArcLight Capital Partners. Pagden, who also joined Summit in 2016, is part of the Healthcare & Life Sciences team and has worked on investments including Advance Medical, CluePoints and Dreampath Diagnostics.

Among the principal promotions, O’Connor Deane was elevated to principal, healthcare human capital, and works with Summit’s Peak Performance Group on executive talent and human capital strategies across healthcare and life sciences. Müller, promoted to principal, is on the Technology team and has been involved with investments including Solactive and TradingHub. Ohri, also promoted to principal on the Technology team, has worked on investments including Akeneo, Odoo and Revizto.

The vice president promotions span investment and investor relations roles. Farrugia was promoted within the Technology team, and Gwozdz was promoted within Healthcare & Life Sciences. McLaughlin, Reyes and Thiboult were promoted within Growth Products & Services, while Miller was promoted to vice president in investor relations.

Summit Partners, founded in 1984, invests in technology, healthcare and other growth industries and said it has invested in more than 550 companies, with more than 175 public equity offerings completed and more than 250 companies acquired through strategic mergers and sales.
