Summit Wealth Group, an independent registered investment advisory firm, has merged with Premier Private Wealth, a Nashville-based wealth manager with $470 million in assets under management. The transaction lifts Summit’s total assets under management to approximately $3 billion and expands the firm’s presence in Tennessee.

As part of the deal, Summit is launching Summit Wealth Group Family Office Services, a dedicated offering designed to serve high- and ultra-high-net-worth families with more integrated support. The firm said the platform will provide services spanning investment oversight, estate and wealth transfer planning, advanced tax planning, family governance, multi-generational engagement and education, philanthropy and legacy planning, and broader family well-being support, delivered through a mix of in-house capabilities and external partners.

Premier Private Wealth CEO Michael Comstock, CFP, will become Summit’s Head of Family Office Services, a newly created role. He will continue advising clients, lead the new Summit office in Franklin, Tennessee, and join Summit’s executive leadership team.

The merger follows a series of senior leadership additions at Summit Wealth Group. The firm recently named Scott Wilkinson as Chief Compliance Officer, Chelsea Ganey, CFA, as Chief Investment Officer, and Seamus O’Brien, CFP, as Head of Advisor Success. Summit also noted it took a strategic minority investment from Constellation Wealth Capital in June 2025 to support growth through targeted investments in talent, infrastructure, and capabilities.

Founded in 2002, Summit Wealth Group operates offices across Colorado, Mississippi, Arizona, South Dakota, and Tennessee, providing financial planning and investment management under a fee-based fiduciary model.
