The company manufactures nut-based butters, snacks, and value-added food ingredients. It also imports, processes, and distributes organic and naturally sourced nuts, seeds, dried fruits, grains, and legumes.
Based in Burnaby, BC, Sunco serves food retailers, manufacturers, and food service providers globally. The company offers retailers a wide range of private-label and branded products, from large chains to independent stores. Sunco also distributes ingredient products to manufacturers and food service providers, both directly and through third-party distributors.
Fulcrum’s investment in Sunco marks the fifth platform in Fulcrum’s Private Equity Fund VI, which had a final closing in 2022.
