Sunrise Group: $29 Million Raised For Expanding Dreem Health

By Amit Chowdhry ● Oct 1, 2025

Sunrise Group, known as a leader in sleep health technology, has announced a funding round of $29 million dedicated to expanding Dreem Health, its innovative digital sleep clinic, to ensure its services reach all 50 states in the U.S. This funding round was led by Eurazeo, and it attracted investment from a diverse array of other participants, including Amazon’s Alexa Fund, WE International, Kurma Partners, Vives Fund, Majycc (an investment fund under UI Investissement), Namur Invest, Seventure Partners, Investsud, Sambrinvest, Noshaq, IMBC, and Invest.BW.

Dreem Health is uniquely positioned to tackle the pressing issue of the doctor shortage crisis in the field of sleep disorders. By leveraging technology, the clinic enables patients to access expert sleep care conveniently from the comfort of their own homes.

Through a user-friendly platform, patients can connect directly with licensed sleep specialists who are equipped to diagnose and treat a comprehensive range of sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and more. This telehealth model not only enables efficient service delivery but also ensures that the care provided is covered by insurance, making it financially accessible to many.

At the core of this innovative approach is Sunrise Group’s proprietary technology, which includes an FDA-cleared mandibular sensor specifically designed for the accurate, at-home diagnosis of sleep apnea. This state-of-the-art device enables patients to receive an objective assessment of their sleep health without the need for a traditional in-lab sleep study. Such advancements reinforce Sunrise Group’s dual identity as both a cutting-edge technology innovator, with its proprietary medical devices, and a patient-centered care provider, prioritizing a seamless digital-first experience.

With the newly acquired funding, Sunrise Group intends to accelerate the nationwide growth of Dreem Health. This will include expanding clinical services, enhancing the existing patient care model, and investing in the next generation of sleep technology. The company is dedicated to developing advanced hardware and software solutions to enhance the detection, monitoring, and treatment of sleep disorders. Their overarching mission is both clear and ambitious: to make exceptional sleep care faster, easier, and accessible to everyone, regardless of their geographical location.

Sunrise Group has successfully laid a robust foundation for scaling its operations. The company currently provides services in every state across the U.S., having secured necessary regulatory clearances and contracts with major insurance payers, which collectively cover more than 170 million patients. The rapid expansion of Dreem Health is backed by a dedicated team of over 80 professionals.

This includes licensed sleep specialists, care providers, engineers, technicians, and researchers, all working together to enhance the quality and accessibility of sleep healthcare. And a network of over 500 referring providers enhances the clinic’s outreach and ability to effectively treat the full spectrum of sleep disorders. Recent partnerships and collaborations further strengthen this comprehensive care model, enabling patients to access a wide range of sleep health services all in one place.

KEY QUOTES:

“We have more sleep data than ever before — from smartwatches to connected mattresses — but sleep quality hasn’t kept pace. Trackers alone can’t solve the problem. Real progress happens when technology connects with care. Because the future of sleep care isn’t another app, or another device — it’s a connected pathway. And that’s where Sunrise and Dreem Health are stepping up.”

Laurent Martinot, CEO and Founder of Sunrise Group

“What sets Sunrise Group apart is the combination of hardware and software built specifically for sleep health — technology that directly powers Dreem Health’s clinical services. It’s not just another app or device. It’s the backbone of a new, scalable model for how sleep care will be delivered.”
