Supergoop! announced the appointment of Alana Kwarta as its first Chief Human Resources Officer, effective March 16, 2026, creating a new C-suite role aimed at strengthening the company’s talent strategy and organizational capabilities as it enters its next phase of growth.
The SPF-focused skincare brand said the new position reflects its commitment to investing in leadership development, organizational design, and scalable operating rhythms as the company expands. In the role, Kwarta will partner with the executive leadership team to shape the company’s organizational structure, strengthen leadership pipelines, and guide enterprise-wide change initiatives.
Kwarta brings more than two decades of experience developing people and culture strategies at major global beauty companies. She most recently served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the Dermatological Beauty Division at L’Oréal USA, where she oversaw people strategy for a portfolio that included CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, SkinCeuticals, and skinbetter science.
During her tenure at L’Oréal, she helped guide the division through a period of rapid growth and transformation, strengthening leadership development programs and the operational infrastructure to support expanding teams.
At Supergoop!, Kwarta will lead the company’s people and culture agenda with a focus on talent planning, organizational design and change leadership. The company said she will also help establish stronger company-wide systems and processes to support a high-performance culture as the business continues to scale.
Supergoop! positions itself as a protective skincare brand focused on making daily sun protection easier and more appealing to consumers, with a mission to encourage routine SPF use to help prevent skin cancer and promote long-term skin health.
