Superhuman has acquired AI meeting assistant Fathom, adding meeting intelligence to a productivity suite spanning email, calendars, collaborative documents, databases, and AI agents.
Fathom is used by hundreds of thousands of companies to capture, search, and act on information discussed during meetings.
Superhuman plans to integrate that context into its broader suite, including Superhuman Go, the company’s proactive AI assistant designed to operate across more than 1 million applications and websites.
The transaction addresses a persistent limitation of standalone AI meeting tools: summaries and action items can remain isolated from the applications where subsequent work occurs.
By combining Fathom with Superhuman, meeting discussions could become additional context for AI agents operating across documents, email, project systems and other business applications.
For example, Superhuman said an AI agent could analyze the transcript of a project standup, prepare an updated project status inside Superhuman Docs and send the work to a manager for approval.
Fathom’s technology includes meeting capture, bot-free options, live summaries and integrations that connect meeting information with CRMs, AI agents and productivity applications.
The company was included in G2’s 2026 Best Software Awards Top 100 and was named HubSpot’s 2025 Most Used App of the Year.
Superhuman, formerly Grammarly, says its broader platform serves more than 40 million people, 50,000 organizations and 3,000 educational institutions.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
