Superior Hydrovac Acquires Delta Daylighting To Expand Houston Operations

Superior Hydrovac has acquired Houston-based Delta Daylighting, expanding Peak Utility Services Group’s hydrovac capacity and presence in one of the country’s most active utility infrastructure markets. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Delta provides hydrovac and daylighting services to customers in the Houston market.

The acquisition adds Delta’s employees, customer relationships and operating capabilities to Superior Hydrovac, Peak’s existing hydrovac platform.

Delta’s operations will be integrated into Superior Hydrovac.

The combined company plans to use Superior’s operating infrastructure, safety programs and existing customer relationships to support a larger regional operation.

Hydrovac technology uses pressurized water and vacuum systems to excavate around underground infrastructure in a non-destructive manner.

Superior provides hydrovac excavation, line jetting, CCTV and related services to utility and infrastructure customers.

Peak said the acquisition strengthens its ability to support electric, natural gas, telecommunications and other critical infrastructure projects.

The company plans to continue investing in utility and infrastructure service businesses through a combination of operational resources, strategic support and capital.
