Supper has secured an $11 million seed round to accelerate the development of its AI-native data platform, a system designed to eliminate the delays and complexities that often prevent teams from accessing reliable company data. The round was led by Union Square Ventures with participation from BoxGroup, Inspired Capital, Torch Capital, and Avid Ventures.

The company was co-founded by Lowell Putnam, previously the founder of Quovo, which was acquired by Plaid, and Andrew Salamon, a co-founder of Hims & Hers. Their combined experience in scaling businesses with major public and private market outcomes positions Supper to address challenges faced by rapidly growing organizations.

Supper’s platform is built to aggregate and cleanse data from SaaS tools and data warehouses, creating a semantic layer that simplifies querying and enables employees across departments to receive dependable insights instantly. The company describes its technology as “agentic,” enabling users to pose natural-language questions and receive high-quality answers without waiting for engineers or analysts.

The funding will support Supper’s product expansion and customer adoption as companies increasingly prioritize data accuracy, speed, and usability. Engineering and analytics teams gain time back from recurring queries, while business leaders obtain answers they trust more quickly. According to the company, the result is improved decision-making, enhanced alignment, and operational efficiency across teams.

Supper’s customers use the platform to streamline reporting, automate insights, and generate dashboards for strategic planning and ongoing data needs. Leadership across industries is seeking tools that transform their internal data into reliable, organization-wide knowledge, and Supper positions itself as a solution for modern data-driven companies.

KEY QUOTES:

“At fast-growing companies, teams burn hours every week wrangling data — rewriting SQL, chasing definitions, stitching numbers together in Excel they don’t even trust. It’s a hidden tax that shows up in board decks, team meetings, even one-on-ones. Supper cuts that out. You just ask a question, get an insight, and move on. Decisions get faster, trust gets stronger, and everyone stays aligned.”

Lowell Putnam, Co-founder and CEO of Supper

“We built Supper to feel simple on the surface. Behind the scenes, it’s incredibly powerful. The platform aggregates and cleanses customers’ data, builds out their semantic layer, and maintains data security so anyone can get answers they trust, fast.”

Andrew Salamon, Co-founder and President of Supper

“We see enormous potential in tools that turn data into collective knowledge and sources of trust. Supper delivers on that vision, and Lowell and Andy’s experience as founders makes them the right team to solve the problem.”

Rebecca Kaden, Managing Partner at Union Square Ventures

“With Supper, our engineering team saves 7–8 hours every week on query requests from our CEO, COO, and GTM teams. It’s modernized how we work with data and helps everyone move faster.”
