Supplier.io, a supplier intelligence platform, announced it has acquired TealBook, a provider of vendor master data management technology, to strengthen its capabilities in enterprise supplier data management and launch its new solution, Atlas.
The acquisition is designed to address a widespread issue in procurement: fragmented, duplicated, and unreliable vendor data. These inefficiencies often lead to unnecessary costs, missed savings opportunities, and operational challenges for large organizations. With enterprises increasingly modernizing ERP systems and adopting AI-driven insights, clean and standardized supplier data has become critical.
Atlas, Supplier.io’s newly launched vendor master data management solution, integrates the company’s existing supplier intelligence capabilities with TealBook’s expertise in data cleansing, legal entity resolution, and corporate hierarchy mapping. The platform spans more than 225 million global supplier profiles and verified legal registries, creating a unified and trustworthy supplier data foundation.
By combining Supplier.io’s intelligence layer, which includes diversity certifications, sustainability metrics, and risk and compliance data, with TealBook’s data management technology, Atlas aims to cover the full supplier data lifecycle within a single platform. The solution is designed to help procurement, finance, and supplier diversity teams eliminate duplicate records, improve supplier visibility, and accelerate sourcing decisions with pre-qualified data.
TealBook’s technology has already demonstrated enterprise-scale impact, including helping Kraft Heinz reduce supplier data maintenance costs by nearly $1 million annually. With this acquisition, Supplier.io plans to expand that capability to a broader customer base.
Atlas is available immediately and is compatible with existing procurement systems, including SAP Ariba and Oracle. The company stated that organizations can use the platform to consolidate supplier records, enhance compliance reporting, and gain deeper insights into supplier networks.
KEY QUOTES:
“Clean supplier data is not a nice-to-have. It is the foundation for every sourcing decision, every spend analysis, and every procurement platform. We built Supplier.io to give procurement teams the intelligence they need to act with confidence, and with TealBook’s technology now part of our platform, we can deliver that from the ground up. Atlas is the product our customers have been asking for, and it is available today.”
Neeraj Shah, CEO of Supplier.io
“TealBook was built to solve one of the hardest problems in procurement data: getting the vendor master right. We spent years developing technical depth in entity resolution, deduplication, and hierarchy mapping because we knew that everything else in procurement runs on that foundation. Joining Supplier.io means that capability now reaches a much larger market, inside a platform that already delivers the intelligence layer our customers also need.”
Stephany Lapierre, Founder of TealBook
