SupplyOne announced the acquisition of Compass Packaging Solutions, a Massachusetts-based packaging solutions provider, strengthening its footprint in New England and expanding its capabilities in protective packaging, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution services.
Based in North Billerica, Massachusetts, Compass Packaging Solutions was founded in 2011 and serves customers across the life sciences, semiconductor, technology, and defense sectors. The company provides custom protective packaging solutions as well as warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, and kitting services.
Following the transaction, Compass Packaging Solutions will continue to operate under the leadership of owner Rick Meissner.
The acquisition aligns with SupplyOne’s strategy of expanding its value-added packaging offerings and geographic reach across North America. The company noted that Compass enhances a key strategic focus area, protective packaging, while also supporting its growing customer base throughout New England.
This deal marks SupplyOne’s 48th acquisition since the company was founded in 1998 and represents its third acquisition in the last three years involving a significant protective packaging portfolio.
SupplyOne, headquartered in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, operates more than 60 locations across the United States and Canada. The company provides value-added packaging distribution services, including custom corrugated, foam, wood, and plastics converting capabilities designed to help customers optimize supply chains and improve operational efficiency.
Compass Packaging Solutions has built its business around engineering-driven packaging design and manufacturing, combining custom packaging production with logistics and fulfillment services to help customers improve packaging performance and streamline supply chain operations.
