SupplyOne announced the acquisition of Specialty Packaging, a packaging solutions distributor headquartered in East Hartford, Connecticut. The transaction marks SupplyOne’s 47th acquisition since its founding in 1998 and strengthens its footprint across New England.
Founded in 2012 by Chris Orsini and Keith Streib, Specialty Packaging provides a wide range of packaging products and services. Its offerings include food packaging solutions such as films, trays, bags, and corrugated containers, as well as protective packaging, equipment sales, packaging design, warehousing, and logistics support for customers across multiple industries.
A notable product in Specialty Packaging’s portfolio is its proprietary SteamRight® microwavable packaging solution, which enables frozen food products to steam directly inside the package. The company’s capabilities in food packaging and equipment align with SupplyOne’s strategic priorities as it continues to expand its national distribution platform.
Orsini and Streib will continue to lead the Specialty Packaging business following the acquisition. SupplyOne plans to integrate the company’s capabilities into its broader network, which now spans more than 60 locations across the United States and Canada.
SupplyOne is known as a value-added packaging distributor with custom converting capabilities across corrugated, foam, wood, and plastics. The company provides tailored packaging products and supply chain solutions designed to help businesses optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve product presentation.
The acquisition further enhances SupplyOne’s geographic reach while expanding its packaging distribution, food packaging, and equipment capabilities as it continues to grow across North America.
