SVRN Acquires FastNEAR To Expand NEAR Infrastructure Operations

By Amit Chowdhry ● Oct 10, 2026

SVRN acquired FastNEAR, a provider of infrastructure and data services supporting applications operating on the NEAR Protocol. FastNEAR is now a wholly owned subsidiary of SVRN.

Co-founders Evgeny Kuzyakov and Mike Purvis have also joined SVRN.

FastNEAR operates Remote Procedure Call infrastructure used by NEAR applications to read information from the blockchain and submit transactions.

The company also operates archival systems containing NEAR’s transaction history and NEARDATA, a data feed used by developers.

FastNEAR currently handles more than 3.5 billion requests each month and more than 100 terabytes of data.

SVRN already participates in the NEAR ecosystem through its digital asset treasury.

The company stakes NEAR with validators that help secure the network and participates in ecosystem governance.

SVRN also co-authored a program approved in February 2026 that compensates multi-party computation node operators based on performance.

The acquisition expands SVRN from holding and staking NEAR into directly operating infrastructure used by developers and applications.

SVRN plans to invest in FastNEAR’s capacity and reliability while developing additional products and services around the platform.

Existing FastNEAR services will continue without interruption.

KEY QUOTES:

“Everything built on NEAR depends on infrastructure most people never see. When a wallet shows a balance or an application submits a transaction, something has to answer, quickly and correctly, every time.”

“Operating that infrastructure puts us close to real demand. We can see where usage is growing and what developers need that doesn’t exist yet.”

“FastNEAR is the first of several steps we plan to take to drive adoption of NEAR’s products.”
